News Desk
Explained PH’s News Desk is responsible for delivering accurate and relevant information to the community. We aim to make stories closer to people by turning mainstream narratives into contextualized and people-centered ones. With our dedicated pool of writers, the desk never sleeps as it produces articles every day.
Produce at least three (3) substantial articles per month that cover various social issues, especially in the education sector.
Ensure that all articles are accurate, balanced, timely, and properly sourced.
Observe proper journalistic ethics, responsible reporting, and critical news writing.
Must be updated with relevant developments in society, whether international, national, or local.
Actively engage in meetings, cover events (on-ground or onsite), and conduct interviews with people.
Maintain active communication with the editors and fellow staffers/volunteers and respond promptly to updates.
