Explained PH’s Sports Desk is an avenue for campus journalists to dive into the action, telling the stories behind the scores, and giving athletes the spotlight they deserve.
Deliver high-quality articles on time, especially under the pressure of live game results.
Practice responsible journalism and avoid sensationalism.
Move beyond the scoreboard and write compelling stories with unique angles in every event.
Produce a minimum of 2 articles per cycle.
Give voice to non-mainstream sports and report on critical issues about the sports industry.
